Aaron Toneys

Good Company

Aaron Toneys of Good Company works primarily with business and higher education clients, focusing on greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories, climate action planning, and sustainability assessments.

Recently, Toneys completed a comprehensive GHG inventory for the University of Texas at Austin. Past clients include Kennedy/Jenks Consultants and SAIF Corporation for whom Toneys completed a GHG inventory, developed a climate action strategy, and provided GHG inventory training to build each organization's internal capacity.

Toneys is the primary developer of the Good Company Carbon Calculator (G3C), an Excel-based GHG calculator designed to assist a wide range of organizations with measurement of emissions associated with mission-critical activities including:

  • Building energy emissions (electricity and natural gas)
  • Transportation emissions (owned fleet, rental vehicles, employee-owed vehicles used for business travel, air, bus and light rail travel)
  • Fugitive emissions from refrigerants
  • Emissions from landfilled solid waste
  • Emissions from employee commute
  • Embodied emissions in purchased goods and services

Toneys also participates in Climate Masters at Home and Climate Masters at Work, two community programs that pursue environmental change through consumer action and citizen education.

Tonyes has a B.S. in environmental science (physical resource management) from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay. He is a LEED™ Accredited Professional.
