Molly Chidsey

Molly Chidsey is the sustainability coordinator for Metro, the regional government in Portland, Oregon. She has worked to promote sustainability in large organizations for more than thirteen years.
Chidsey has worked with the Multnomah County Sustainability Program to develop programs that prevent waste, increase recycling, reduce toxics, and make county purchases more sustainable. Her work with the international Health Care Without Harm Coalition included coordination of a voluntary "Mercury-Free Medicine" campaign with health care facilities. She has also worked with college campuses to adopt sustainability practices through the National Wildlife Federation's Campus Ecology program.
Originally from Cleveland, OH, Molly has a passion for creating sustainable communities that provide opportunities and benefits for all.
